Ottawa’s Tulip Festival

May 17 – 19, 2020 $615.00 per person double occupancy

Travel with us across the border to Ottawa the Capital of Canada where the splendor of the
Ottawa Tulip Festival awaits you, since 1952. Thousands of Tulip flowers are spread everywhere throughout the city during the festival that holds various kinds of culture events. The festival has an historic background. During WWII the royal Dutch family escaped from Holland and found shelter in Ottawa. When the queen, Juliana, returned to Holland in 1945, she decided to thank the Canadian people for hosting the royal family and
sent Ottawa 100,000 Tulip tubers. You will have a unique view of the tulip gardens as you cruise down the Rideau Canal. Your Local Guide will show you the most impressive sites on
your city tour. Visit Rideau Hall, residence of the Governor General of Canada. Get a behind the scenes visit to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police stables where they do the training for their horses in parades across Canada and the U.S.A. Experience a French-Canadian sugar bush meal with traditional dishes and atmosphere.
