Spend the day with our knowledgeable local guide to visit some of the most incredible sights and places Rochester has to offer! The morning begins winding our way through the streets of Rochester to the Susan B. Anthony House. The home of Susan B. Anthony for forty years, while she was a national figure in the women’s rights movement. She was arrested in the front parlor after attempting to vote in the 1872 Presidential Election. She resided at her home until her death. Next, attend Live from Hochstein, the longest running live broadcast concert series in Western New York at The Hochstein School, formerly the Central Presbyterian Church. This afternoons concert is String Fantasies: Early 20th-Century Duos for Violin and Cello. We will dine at the Rochester Yacht Club, a private club established in 1877, on the shores of Lake Ontario and the Genesee River. After lunch stop at Maplewood Park known for their roses before arriving at Kodak Visitor Center. At the Center we will learn more about the company’s rich history, far-reaching impact on science, technology, culture, and the accomplishments of its employees – past and present. Our last stop today takes us to the Genesee Brew House, a transformed 9,200 square-foot space into a beer destination, featuring interactive exhibits, multimedia content and gift shop. Before we head for home, have a Kodak moment at High Falls, one of three voluminous waterfalls on the Genesee River, that flow through the city of Rochester located next to the Brew House.
